Citroën Alex vous propose la remise en état de vos boites de vitesses pour Citroën DS – ID et SM 2CV. Je suis spécialisé dans ce type de réfection. Que votre boite soit à commande mécanique ou hydraulique elle sera remise en état dans les règles de l’art.

Options

For Citroen Ds fitted with hydraulic gearbox, it is possible to build a gearbox with longer drive, similar to a 5 speed mechanical gearbox. This is an interesting option for anyone using their Citroen Ds 21 ie and Ds 23 ie on long motorway journeys. It will have the same 4 speed gearbox but the ratio will be modified so that the engine will be running slower in 4th gear. We are able to make the adjustment on the bevel gear.

Descriptif remise en état d'une boite de vitesse

  • Complete exterior clean-up
  • Complete dismantling of the gearbox (nuts, bolts, seals etc..).
  • Interior clean-up of the casing ( completely degreased).
  • Sandblasting of the casing, exterior and interior.
  • Complete restauration of the nuts and bolts (electrolytic treatment) in period colours of yellow, white and black.
  • Contrôle de toute la pignonerie par des prises de côtes, expertise visuelle, etc… toutes pièces douteuses est systématiquement écartées.
  • Check for wear and tear on all the synchro and replacement if necessary.
  • All the near bearings are also checked. Je dispose d’un important stock de roulement d’origine d’époque, ce qui permet de remonter des roulements avec la qualité identique à celle d’origine.I have a large stock of new original stock of gearbox bearings and this enables me to fit bearings to the same quality as the original ones.
  • Systematic correction of the brake discs on Ds with 3 main bearing engine.
  • Systematic correction of the brake discs on 5 main bearing engine for DS and SM.
  • .All the seals are new apart from the outer gearbox seals which are re-used if in good condition.
  • Once all the parts have bee checked, reconditioned and re-assembled, re-assembly can start..
  • Re-assembly of all the mechanism using original tooling.
  • Complete adjustment using original tooling. I own a large stock of wedges for gear adjustment. The adjustment of the bevel gear is important as it can lead to several dismantling to reach optimal running of the gearbox.
  • Check up and adjustment of the final gear engagement on hydraulic gearbox using Fenwick test bed.
